FTP --Uploading your web site...
The program of choice is Filezilla. There are versions for PC, Mac and Linux... There is a PC and Mac version on the CD (portable program version for your flash drive or you can install it on your computer at home).
Your text book has information about Filezilla in Chapter 8 pages 317 -320. You'll also find some tips on using Filezilla in Lesson 4.
In class we used Filezilla to connect to a live web site...
If you need the password to use one of the classes free web sites, send me an e-mail.
After you upload your test web site in it's own folder, send me an e-mail... I'll made a main page on the test sites that will list links to fellow class members so they may view your web site... or just post the URL of your web site here!

Once you have uploaded a web site... always test the site!
1. Visit it on different computer, other than the one you used to develop it.
2. Have someone else visit your web pages... Your fellow students make good tester/critics or hire some one... or invite your neighbor over and buy 'em lunch or a serve some locally brewed ale!
